Mental Health and Wellbeing

The happiness and wellbeing of all within our community is a key priority. In addition to the robust systems we have in place to promote and support positive mental health and wellbeing for everyone, our students also benefit from bespoke support provided by a range of services who support our students in school:

  • youth mentors
  • a school counsellor
  • the Wellbeing in Mind Team

Wellbeing in Mind are an NHS service who work within Norton College to provide advice and support to ensure that every one of our students has access to timely mental health support throughout their time at school.

Referrals for the above services are done internally within school. If you feel that your child would benefit from this support or if you have any concerns around your child’s mental health or wellbeing contact their pastoral leader or our safeguarding lead, Mrs Wilson.

Additional support and guidance can be accessed using the following links, which signpost external support.
